Brett Norell
Brett W. Norell was named Ambulatory Manager for Surgical Specialties of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 2007. Norell is responsible for management of the day-to-day operations for Surgery, Urology, Craniofacial and Eye clinics at Children’s Hospital, the flagship hospital of Children’s Hospital and Health System.
Most recent, Norell served as Director of Respiratory and Neurodiagnostics of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-St. Joseph from 2005-2006, Pulmonary Services Operations Manager from 2002-2005 at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. He also was an Administrative Fellow from 2001-2002 and Administrative Intern in 2000 at Children’s. Previously, he served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the College of Dentistry, Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at The University of Iowa.
Norell received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and holds Master of Public Health and Master of Health Administration degrees from The University of Iowa in Iowa City. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Board of Directors for the ACHE Wisconsin Chapter. Norell received the Regent’s Award as Young Healtchare Executive of the Year in Wisconsin and the Milford E. Barnes Award for Health Management and Policy from The University of Iowa.
