Mark Hamilton
Mark A. Hamilton, FACHE, has over 22 years experience in healthcare administration. He received an MS in Public Health-Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He has been affiliated with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics since 1992, serving as the Vice President of Ambulatory Operations since 1996. Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Mark served in various administrative roles at Methodist Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children and Indiana University Hospital, all part of the Clarian Health System in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mark attained Fellowship status in the College in 1996 by mentoring a junior executive at UW Hospital and Clinics.
Mark is involved in the community through volunteer service for multiple sclerosis, Wisconsin Dialysis, Inc. and was instrumental in helping establish the South Madison Heath and Family Center-Harambee, a public-private partnership located in Madison. He also spent 14 years as a volunteer coach of youth basketball, baseball and soccer. Mark lives in Fitchburg, Wisconsin with his wife Debbie and two children, Mike and Matt, who both attend college at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. In his spare time Mark enjoys bicycling, golf and racquetball.
