William Calhoun

William (Bill) Calhoun has 17-years of experience in health care leadership and joined the Affinity Health System as the president of Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, in August of 2007.

Prior to joining Affinity, Bill served as the senior vice president and chief operating officer of The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle, Maine, an affiliate of the Eastern Maine Healthcare System. Previously, Bill worked as a vice president with Howard Young Health Care in Woodruff, WI. Howard Young is an affiliate of Ministry Health Care, Milwaukee, and one of two Affinity Health System sponsors.

A Wisconsin native, Bill earned his bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, his master's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and has become involved in his community through Rotary and the Partners-In-Education Council of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. He and his family reside in Oshkosh and enjoy a number of outdoor activities
