Mission Statement
The mission of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives is to be the professional membership society for healthcare executives; to meet its members’ professional, educational and leadership needs; to promote high ethical standards and conduct; to advance healthcare leadership and management excellence; to promote student involvement in healthcare leadership, and to promote the mission of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

The Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives is a fully chartered chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives that was established in March 2004 as a not-for-profit organization to serve the needs of Wisconsin’s health care community. Currently we serve over 650 healthcare executives in Wisconsin that are affiliated with ACHE in all fields including hospitals, health agencies, consulting firms, educational organizations, and related public and private organizations.The primary purpose of the Chapter is to meet the professional needs of its members, promote excellence in healthcare leadership by providing education and training, aiding in career advancement and embracing communication and networking relationships among colleagues in Wisconsin. Planned activities of the chapter include regional networking meetings and Chapter sponsored educational programs across the state. As a designated Chapter of ACHE, may of the educational programs are eligible for Category I or II credits.If you are not already a member we would like to personally invite you to join the Chapter and participate in the upcoming events. Currently there here is no cost to join the Chapter and you do not have to be an affiliate of ACHE. Participation in future chapter activities may enhance your careers as we plan to provide networking opportunities with area healthcare executives on current and relevant topics.

Wisconsin Chapter of ACHE Wins Recognition Award
The ACHE Chapter Management and Awards Program acknowledges outstanding chapter accomplishments based on objective measured results. Based on the 2007 WI Chapter of the ACHE Member Needs Survey, conducted late last year, the WI Chapter is being recognized with the Award of Chapter Merit for overall member satisfaction. Based on your member scoring, the WI chapter has exceeded the national standard for member satisfaction and is being recognized as a high performing chapter. Mark Hamilton, FACHE, President of the WI Chapter of ACHE and Mary Hansen, FACHE, Regent for Wisconsin will be representing the WI Chapter at Congress on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the MacEachern Luncheon, where chapters will be recognized for their achievements.
